It would be nice if there where some Japanese style buildings in the editor; I would definitely consider doing a next route in Japanese style. After all, the Japanese railway system is the best in the worldMetroSimGermany wrote:Also has some Japanese feel to it

It reminds me of Finchley Central with overhead lines instead of 4th rail and single track towards HBT instead of double.
Re: Rijndam
I know that situation well; I once build the entire Northernline for MSTS with every branch line, including the LT1995 stock trains. Back then, I did considder also rebuilding the missing section between Mill Hill East and Edgware, but I decided against it, as finishing the line as it exists today (meaning: when I build the simulation) was more important.

I know you did, and I have had many hours of fun on that line. Thank you!
Maybe that knowledge is what makes me thing about that resemblance...

The sign at the side of the road is present at almost all Dutch railroad crossings. It says "WACHT tot het rode licht gedoofd is, er kan nog een metro komen". Translation: "WAIT until the red light is turned off, another metro may be comming". Ofcourse, at normal railroad crossings it mentiones trains instead of metro's.

Re: Rijndam
As I have just posted this image on the Dutch forum as part of a response to a question, here a picture of the bridge near Rijnwoude Dorp at line M1.
It is ment as a bridge that can rotate on the centre support in order to let ships pass (sadly, doing this in the simulator is not possible). That's also why the overhead whires don't continue on the bridge itself; AI controlled trains will lower their pantograph when crossing it, but it is also save to cross with your pantographs raised. Just don't stop on the bridge, as you then won't have the power supply you need to get away

Re: Rijndam
Chicago also has rotating bridges. Why don't you add seperate overhead wires on the bridge? I know a few places that uses overhead wires on rotating bridges as well as draw bridges. *Portland, Oregon is one
This is now a dead account.
Re: Rijndam
Yes I know; there is also one here in Leiden over the river Rhine;LosAngelesMetro56 wrote: Why don't you add seperate overhead wires on the bridge? I know a few places that uses overhead wires on rotating bridges as well as draw bridges.

But I like it this way better.
(Perhaps in Rijndam 2018, I'll think about it)
