That's why the door closing sound exist. That thing you describe, was actualy happening 1.5 century ago, when the train doors were manually closed, and there were no automated door sounds.

The problem is that, with some doors kept closed, there is a need to provide a warning as the alarms do not sound at the closed doors

Oh boy, construction on the new D Line is taking forever. I would really love to get to the Convention Center by rail.... Simvliet Metro's contractors better get off their behinds and get to work on completing that line. I feel my taxes are going to waste!
