Re: Nederdam
Based on what I've seen in dutch forum, will all the trains in nederdam be the MG2/1 and SG2/1 trains?

Maybe yes, or maybe not...ProfessorWho wrote:Based on what I've seen in dutch forum, will all the trains in nederdam be the MG2/1 and SG2/1 trains?
Don't forget that these series are temporarily out of service, due to some problems with the current game engine.

Re: Nederdam
Allright, so we finally can drive MG2/1 and SG2/1 in the future.
Many thanks for the explanation!

Re: Nederdam
You might wanna go change the wiki page about it than. I remember when you snapped at me over something someone else did.Michiel wrote:No they are not, they are simply not finished.

Re: Nederdam
Is it possible to run both SG3 and SG2/1 in the same train (Multiple units)?
It looks like they have the same coupler.
Side note:
5400 serie (2017) looks really great!

Currently running Metro Simulator Beta on NVIDIA GeForce GT1030 2GB grafic card.
Re: Nederdam
No, they can only couple mechanically, not electrically. Only the MG2 and SG2 can be put in service coupled together.
Using the same couplers on different types of rolling stock is just practical; any train can tow any other train away in case of problems, with no need to carry special equipment on each train to couple different types together. However, if the different train types do not have compatible electrical systems (and/or different on-board computer systems/software), the connection can only be made mechanically, and combined passenger service is not possible.
