Are there 'couple buffers' in the 1985 version?

No, they are not needed. As Michiel explained earlier, those buffers where used to avoid needing to use the (noisy) air compressors while the trains where stabled away at the terminus De Akkers in Spijkenisse, which is (on a viaduct) in the middle of a living area.

In Rijndam 1985, the only depot tracks are either underground or at Molenwijk Depot, which is not in a living area.

Also, back in 1985, they did not care that much about making noise yet.

In Rijndam 1985, I decided not to leave the railway-part (Noorderpoort - Panbos / Airport) trainless. But as there are no passenger trains available in Metrosimulator, I have used the Bursa SG2's.
There will be no specific activities for them, but hey are present as AI traffic in all activities, and you can look up the timetable. So you can always decide to take one over yourself. ;)

(And ofcourse, you can make your own activities)

The platform looks weird, personally I would like it either on the other side, or the remnants of 'platform 2' there, just fenced off.

The Bursa trains can only be powered by overhead wire, which is fine for the Noorderpoort lines, and lot less anachronistic than the SG3 trains, but the Bursa trains don't have a '100' light for the airport line :?

Indeed. And as the ATB-EG system does not have a code for 100, it transmits "130" (although the speed limit is still 100). So when running here, the cabine won't display a speed limit. But not to worry; the AI does not run the 5200's at 130 km/h :D

So does that mean there would be no speed lights on, or what? What does the AI run the trains at? 80? 100?
What about the Panbos line? (I guess the '80' lamp would be on, except in short sections of 40km/h where the '40' lamp will be on)
