Here's another one....

Most tracks (and overhead wires) for the new line are in place. The CVL is now being build, and I have started on scenery. ;)

Would it be possible to change the destinations from 'ypenburg' to 'Ypenburg' as it just doesn't look right

Looking for placenames

Post by Sjoerd »

Call for placename suggestions! :)

As scenery on the new line to Zeeburg is growing, I will need new names for the stations along the way. First to be reached, see screenshots below; this small town along the line will be a stop for all train services (also Intercity's). There will also be a small industrial area (with track connection / freight sidings), but there is no scenery there yet (so not visible in these screenshots).

Placenames should;
  • Sound Dutch (or Flemmish)
  • Preferably not be an actual placename, but still sound like one.
Any suggestions?

One could be Morgansburg. And what about a religious missionary station like Fort Christian or something?

By the pedestrian gate, why not put a guard rail between the sidewalk and the road so mentally challenged people won't walk around them? It could be that one extra safe crossing on the simulator.

Station name suggestions:

- Deende
- Hemlo
- Enschen
- Amenlo
- Lodemveen
- Grooborne
- Vriendeveen
- Oudenzoon

The names are inspired of places in Twente (East-Netherlands).

Rijndammerdijk (inspired of the street Zeeburgerdijk in Amsterdam)
