Is it possible to make a tram with the pantograph of the Dutch (A’dam network line 24) 12G tram? Or just refurbish a already existing tram?
Re: Rijndam
Perhaps if the 11G or 12G are ever build for Metrosimulator....MSB4THOMAS wrote: ↑12 Sep 2019, 18:56 Is it possible to make a tram with the pantograph of the Dutch (A’dam network line 24) 12G tram? Or just refurbish a already existing tram?
There are models of both on 3D Warehouse, but they are outher shells without interiors.
Now, I did create full interiors before (look at the Citadis trams for example), but it's a lot of work, and I have enough to do already at the moment.

I suggest some little modifications who could improve the shunts at Noorderpoort in case of we need to reverse a train:
- add a track from block 139 to 51 (ideally before switch between 51 and 238)
- add a switch from block 51 to 11 but before the junction with the block 239
- and ideally, extend the small track (block 237) and connect it to main track to make actual 236 a siding
The two first points are really important to improve the reversing at NDP, the third is a bit less important, it’s mainly to have a siding to properly reversing trains.

Re: Rijndam
Some sort of curve to bypass Noorderpoort altogether and drive between the Panbos and Aipiort lines you mean?
If you want to drive Panbos -> Airport, you could drive 139 -> 138 (NDP1, reverse here) -> 51 -> 52 -> 13.
If you want to drive Panbos -> Panbos, you could drive 139 -> 138 (NDP1, reverse here) -> 139 -> 140 -> 242.
If you want to drive Airport -> Panbos, you could drive 51 -> 238 (NDP3, reverse here) -> 239.
If you want to drive Airport -> Airport, you could drive 51 -> 238 (NDP3, reverse here) -> 11.
- add a switch from block 51 to 11...
Drive a bit further left-side, and take the switch 52->13.
Not enough room available due to other switches already there....but before the junction with the block 239
Could be done, but I don't actually see a practical use here. By the way; blocks 236 and 237 are the incoming track from the city center.- and ideally, extend the small track (block 237) and connect it to main track to make actual 236 a siding

No, it's not to bypass NDP but to facilitate the reversing

Re: Rijndam
What will happen to ICM-1 and ICM-3 trains and the non-HSL line to Zeeburg, now the release of Beta 3.15 is only a few weeks away?
Re: Rijndam
The ICM-1 is now back in the state is was during my first video on Youtube; no passenger seats, no bagage racks, no working driver panel. The ICM-3 is lost.AlistairCowell wrote: ↑13 Sep 2019, 13:33 What will happen to ICM-1 and ICM-3 trains and the non-HSL line to Zeeburg, now the release of Beta 3.15 is only a few weeks away?
I might spend a few more hours on the ICM-1 to restore some of the lost work, but either way; I'll propably make it available, even if it is not complete. In that case, I'll just park it on a siding somewhere in an activity, and it will be drivable (just not in active service in the supplied activities).
The non-HSL line to Zeeburg is also lost. Perhaps I'll rebuild it for a future release, but I am not sure yet.
I did rebuild the Rijndam Landgoed station, the two extra siding tracks at Molenwijk railway depot, and the stadium at Westplein.

If it's necessary, I don't mind to wait another few weeks for the release, just to you have time to work on the details of that train...
Just like the freight train?Sjoerd wrote: ↑13 Sep 2019, 14:44 I might spend a few more hours on the ICM-1 to restore some of the lost work, but either way; I'll propably make it available, even if it is not complete.
