Re: Rijndam
I spotted a defect in catenary in Rijndam 2022 1.2 between Oranjeboomstraat and Steenstraat (The catenary is only invisible).

Re: Rijndam
Hey @Sjoerd Can you maybe change the destination boards from the 5300/5400 in Simvliet to the ones from Rijndam? So that the Rijndam ones also can have a green destination display?

Re: Rijndam
I can't change the Simvliet ones, that's up to Michiel. About those in Rijndam; I do not have software to make these destination boards. Someone else made them for me for the first Rijndam version (Rijndam 2016), and I have been adapting them (using MS Paint) ever since (by selecting individual letters and moving them around). I even managed to make more letters and numbers by manually moving groups of pixels around. But changing the color.... That function doesn't exist in Paint (unless it's all exactly the same color, without any light/shade effects to it).
I have tried it once through Powerpoint (where such a function does exist), but the effect wasn't good enough.
It isn't really worth the effort. Just think of it like this; the Rijndam metro maintenance department just ordered a lot of the same display units.... one size fits all approach
I also once tried a professional program which is made to program these destination boards on public transport vehicles, but I could not get it to work; after all, it was nog designed for this purpose (making a texture of a displayed destination); it's primary output was a datafile which a bus destination display computer could read.

Ok. I didn't want that Michel changes the destination boards in Simvliet, i meant that you change the Orange ones in Rijndam to the green simvliet ones. So in Rijndam we also have green displays.. But ok.

Re: Rijndam
Ever tried paint net? I think its the best graphics editor for simple tasks, being as intuitive as Paint but able to do much more. It can perform colour shifts and easily change from orange to green. Another thing, you can try a variety of fonts for destination boards here: https://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=302
