Will the light version be anywhere near as light as Rijndam 2016?

I don't think that will be possible, as by comparison, Rijndam 2016 is nearly empty. But I will attempt, also in the full version, to make the hardest part; the Rijndam Centraal Station environment, a bit less difficult to handle (without sacrificing too much of the scenery). ;)

Yeah I know that 2016 is peanuts, so probably somewhere along the lines of 1982 or 2006 I suppose? I also wonder what exactly makes Centraal that heavy.

If you open the debugger view (Ctrl+D twice), you'll see that the framerate decreases when you go to the Rijndam Centraal station. So, actually the main factor is this, plus that when on activity, trains of 4 metro lines + 2 RR lines + the cargo train pass from there + there's a lot of overground scenery for the tram.

I edited it, as I know that framedrop increases; I can't approach Centraal normally as it slows down so much. I was just wondering which parts of the scenery makes it so heavy, as RandstadRail platforms are very light whereas the bridge is very heavy on polygons.

Well, I have thought of moving the tram underground too at this location, but that would not do much good; most of the surface scenery would still be needed as the train station is still there, and that's a bit too big to move underground as well :D

But in fact it would’ve been very nice if the Centeal station was underground, something like NY Penn station, but that way we wouldn’t have that much of a scenery to see xD
Cheers from Rio de Janeiro :D

And then, there would be a lot of underground scenery, :lol:, meaning more lights turned on all the time (they affect the framerate, too)

Maybe, if you make more than one tram stop underground, the scenery that can't be seen from the train station can be removed, but yeah, compared to the station, it wouldn't make a big difference.

The RijndamRail sprinterservice is being added to the tram activities (full version, for now);
