It is a known problem. The induction loop in the track (comming from Rijnland Ziekenhuis/Momument) is too close to the signal; as you stop for the signal, the inductionloop hasn't detected you yet (it detects you when the center of the first bogie is over the center of the induction loop), and the signal will not clear.Xipheas wrote:Hi!
Apologies if I've missed this somewhere.
I'm currently playing the Sneltram extra scenario, and I've just got to the road crossing just before Station Westplein. There's an AI metro coming the other way and we are both stopped waiting for the crossing lights to change.
Except they aren't! The barriers are down, the bells are ringing, but the signals are not changing.
Is it something I did wrong?
It has been solved in all Rijndam versions (2016, 2018 and 1985), by moving the signal a few meters foreward to create more distance between the inductionloop and the signal. That way the train moves a little bit further before stopping and the detection works.
This modification will be available in Beta 3.11.
For now; manually moving your train just 1-2 meters further will result in a positive detection and clear the signal.
