New activity: Express service (with HSM)

Post by Sjoerd »

Darius wrote:In my opinion, I like the idea of an express service. Especially with the HSM now available as an add-on. What do you think? Also, thank you very much for these activities. If I'm allowed to say, I'd like an express service from Simvliet Central to Stadionwag, if it were possible.
As requested, I hope you like it.

In this activity you are driving an Express service on line C; skip all stations between Simvliet Centrum and Stadionweg, and Tussenvelden. At De Bergen, you will overtake the slower trains on line A/B. Stop between Tussenvelden and Lelywaard at all stations. Passengers may transfer to lines A and B at Simvliet Centrum and Stadionweg. All lines run on a 10 minute interval (resulting in a 5 minute interval between Simvliet Centrum and Stadionweg by lines A and B, plus the Express service).

Three activities have been included;
1) Express line C: You drive a standard SG3-train.
2) Express line C - HSM: You drive a High speed metro (HSM addon required).
3) Express line C - HSMR: You drive a repaint High speed metro (HSM addon required).

Are you Sure, but ATB is Always on with the Speed Limit on 80 km/h and 100 km/h on ZUB on the HSM and HSMR even they can go up to 250 km/h.

SG3: Standed Good 3 Cars Passenger Train
HSM: High Speed Metro Train
HSMR: High Speed Metro Repaint Train

I did not claim the HSM version of the activity would be without ATB. You can disconnect the ATB/ZUB with Ctrl+Shift+A, but that's up to you.
The HSM/HSMR version of this acivity just uses the HSM/HSMR train (just the player's train; the other Line C trains are standard SG3, due to the fact that the AI doesn't work properly with the HSM trains), nothing else; there are no changes in the timetable, CVL or train controll systems.

I've no idea what you're talking about, but since Rotterdam is in the Netherlands, SG3 means "Sneltram Geleed 3".

A small update of the activity (you can replace old files; it's a complete set).

The following changes have been made in this activity:

1) Stops which line C skips will now announce trains on this line as "Niet instappen" ("Do not board") instead of "C Lelywaard".
2) At De Bergen, lines A and B will be announced (on the DRIMs) at tracks 1 and 4 instead of 2 and 3.
3) Prefered platform track 3 at Simvliet Centrum for line C.
4) A small ajustment in departuretimes for line A Araplein - Simvliet Centrum, in order to solve the contant "Vertraagd" ("Delayed")
anouncements at the platform DRIMs.
