So there will be different variations of each model based on years like the SG2s and the MG2s? Cause in the previous pics, the train had an modern LED destination display while this one has the green ones, which are older if I’m correct.

No, the analog display ones are the older (now replaced with an orange LED), first batch of MG2/1's, while the newer batches and SG2/1's have green displays.

reminds me of the DLR with panel at one end that opens like that
