I guess you didn't get it. These two protagonists were going to different lines and because both of them had overhead wire sections, they tested their pantos by "flexing" ;)
If you want to make a very fast ride, just disable ATB/ZUB, put trottle to 1.00 and enjoy.

How is it going with the 5300/5400? (I'm just asking how is it going, not saying that when they come. At least there is someone that does wait ;) )

How about grant the overhead wire section in the line M3 between Station Westplein and Rijnland Ziekenhuis to RijndamRail? You have just to electrify the line between the RijndamRail main line and the Station Westplein depot, in order to facilitate the transfer to Molenwijk...

@Sjoerd, what do you think about my idea? I just inspired in the Sneltram extra Bursa activity, for Rijndam 2016...

RijndamRail is supposed to be a railway for trains (the RijndamRail SG4 was created as no mainline railway passenger rolling stock was available), inspired by systems like the RER in Paris, the S-Bahn in Germany, and the Overground in London. Line M3 is build to be a metro/sneltram system; two worlds apart. ;)
(So no; I am not thinking of taking the M3 line off the metro system and rebuilding it into a mainline railway. :D )

I see Rijndam Rail as company or trade name of a company operating stopping services in the Greater Rijndam area, NS operates the Intercity services (to Simvliet, Nederdam, Briel, ect).
The SG4 trains look good in Rijndam, but look odd in Simvliet.

Lines M2/M3 were built metro, will always be metro.

What train will operate the Simvliet C-Simvliet Airport route in 1985?

I see RijndamRail as a subdivision from NS. It's Rijndam's personal NS railway line, operated by NS themselves under the name RijndamRail. Similar to how Metrolink commuters here in Los Angeles are operated by Amtrak.
