About the crossing signals: I've made a lot of custom objects for my Dutch railway route (still work in progress, I'm lazy I know :P ) and if Sjoerd could teach me how to do signal scripting I might add those overhead flashers too ;)

Rotterdam seems to be getting them as well on lines A/B between Alexander and Oosterflank:

Please tell me the AHOB's gate mechs has counterweights installed on them too. I've been questioning the hell out of the physics of the current longer gates.

Nope. I'm denying the nation's ATB-EG/ZUB AHOBs. They lack counterweights in the simulator. I'm pretty sure that RET's boomgates has counterweights inside of it's mechanism. However, any Safetran styled gate mechanism design has to have counterweights based on how long the gate is. None if it's only a few feet long.

Does this look like there is a proper counterweight inside? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mL9zP3jGSFU
Every time they go down I'm surprised they don't span :D

That's literally just falling down. Also what is that metro going to do in Pernis?

Edit:
Didn't line A terminate in Pernis just before the opening of the rebuilt Hoeksche Lijn?

https://youtu.be/sBDBeb2e5R0 Talking about these.

Notice their counterweights. They are literally just a Dutch counterpart to Australian-American counterweights. We even have the very same counterweights on some of our crossings in America.
