And what did you use to search for secret variants? Did you use a hex editor?
I'm a bit familiar with hex editors as I used them a bit for modding another (completely unrelated) game.

If there is an easteregg hidden in an addon somewhere, it is at least done in a way that makes it possible to find it without using any external software. ;)

Just opening the file with any text editor is enough to find them ;)

That's not what I'm seeing here at the forum. I see people using text/hex editors and whatnot to crack the .000 files. At first, I thought they were archives so I tried opening them with compression software and things like that with no luck. I've only realized it now that it's something different.

I once used to use text editors to desperately find the map editor if it was hidden in the .000 files.

.000 file 54, me 0. That was back in 2015.
