How to change the train sounds

Post by Valentin »

Hello, I have been trying for some time to improve the sounds of the S7 / S8 Stock. But unfortunately I can not figure out how to change the sounds.
Can someone please explain to me in detail how to change that? I also like to spend a lot of time on it. Because I think the sounds of all trains have to be improved. I've already tried to do it with a third party program but it did not work properly. The sounds of the Croyden Tram are not nearly as in reality. But first I would improve the underground trains.

I use Google Translate because I can not speak English well.

Valentin.

Only the devs can do that. The most you can do is submit it to a developer.

If you can record the sounds of these trains or you have found them somewhere (in high quality), send them to Sjoerd. You can’t change them by yourself.

The sound file references are in the 000-databases (which you cannot unpack/alter).

I started my programming career decrypting files like this, so yeah it's definitely possible :P

I am going to London in a few weeks, so does anyone need the sounds? I would be happy to record them for you
