Citadis 302

Post by Sjoerd »

The next rolling stock project; two Citadis 302 trams; Madrid and Lyon. :)

Citadis 302 Lyon (France):

For Lyon, I am also planning a Citadis 402 (the same vehicle, but a bit longer).

Still to do: an interior, driver panel, doors, destination displays, couplers.

Yeah, very good. Could you look at the Citadis 402 of Grenoble? It's similar to the Lyon's Citadis but with a diferant face. If you use Steh13 models, he have it too.
Thanks for French vehicles!

The 302 is the same model used in my city, although it has 7 sections and uses third rail on the ground instead of overhead catenary. If someday someone decide to do a tram line using third rail in MetroSim, you already have the right candidate for it.
Cheers from Rio de Janeiro :D

He should also try a Citadis from Nice (read niis). These are very special, because they can run without overhead wiring for some time. The reason why they can do that is, because in historical center of the Nice there's no overhead wiring.
Yeah, with this tram you could go through section without overhead wire, and not to worry about being stuck here.
If you want to make a very fast ride, just disable ATB/ZUB, put trottle to 1.00 and enjoy.

I can consider more variations, but that will have to wait until these two are finished.

Fitting Alstom's APS-system should not be a problem in the simulator. For now, that is not needed; Madrid and Lyon do not use this option (as far as I know).

There is no problem with that! If we have a chance to have a Grenoble's tram in the game, I can wait as long as needed!
