Release: MP89 / NS93 / Be 8/8 TL

Post by Supertrain_fan »

Hi everyone: :D
After showing some of my models in the "i'm new" thread, I wanted to show some progress of my new models in a new and fresh thread.
Looks like you liked my UT440R and my NS93, so I will complete them :P
In this thread I will share the "evolution" of these models, and hopefully these will be included in the simulator (or maybe as an addon, idk).
First, the current state of the NS-93:

Apart from what I showed in the other thread, the only difference are the bogeys.
They were from the Sketchup 3D Warehouse, and the original author is Seht 13. It fits perfectly :D
And now, the UT-440R:

I did the front of the RC coach (the unpowered car with cabin) in 2 hours, and then I started the M coach (powered car with cabin) today.
Just like the other thread, I put an old version of this model (the orange one) that I did like one year ago.
I hope you like them :)
Cheers, everyone :D
Attention passengers: Metrotren service to Rancagua departing from platform 3.
Mr. Conductor, OK to proceed.
Have a nice trip!

I can assure you; in the event that I might be the one to convert it to a Metrosimulator train, I will definitely deliver the final product in RATP livery too... :D

Hello again, guys :D
This time I'm sharing progress on the GEC-Alsthom NS-93.
I started modeling the interior. It's still missing some details, like the seats, tubes and other things, but I think it's a good start

That's all for now :D
Have a nice day :-)

EDIT:

That would be really nice :D
Also, I think this train would be 3 trains in 1
The Lausanne M2 line also uses these trains, but the consist is only of 2 cars and are driverless :P

In the future, could you do the M1's rolling stock? That would be sick. :D
This is now a dead account.

Then it would be 4 in 1; the RATP has both a driver-version as an automatic version (currently in operation on Paris lines M1 and M14). Luckily, only the interior is different between the two versions.
So if you save the exterior and interior separately, we can make combinations;
  • Santiago exterior, Driver operation interior.
  • Paris exterior, Driver operation interior.
  • Paris exterior, Automatic operation interior.
  • Lausanne exterior, only end-carriages, Automatic operation interior.
And yes; that looks like a great start!

A small tip when you make a train like this in SketchUp. Keep an eye on the amount of polygons you're using. SketchUp is known for the large amount of polygons compared to other 3D programs like 3DSMax and Blender. Those handles next to the door are real killers in SketchUp.
