From the Screenshots topic;

Yes! You have guessed it :D

I am working on a new tram. A Bomdardier Flexity Outlook tram, as build for the Canadian city Toronto. The original Sketchup model was build by Jacob L.
This is a unidirectional vehicle, so in Rijndam, it can only be used in between Station Buitenvelden, Centraal Station, and Statenpolder.

The model is not finished yet, but I am making good progress. ;)

Dang it! And I thought, that's Tatra T3 on that picture in "Screenshots and videos" topic. :( Well I highly doubted it when I saw it. See "Rijndam" topic to find out why Tatra T3 isn't in metrosim.

It looks a bit like the Combino tram we have here in Amsterdam

Yes, it uses a concept that seems to be very popular with tram manufacturers lately; 3 2-axle fixed-truck sections, which support 2 'hovering' sections in between. Or put another way; three 2-axle tramcars with two long couplings in between :roll: Which can be made longer by adding another fixed-truck and hovering section in between.
Siemens uses this concept on the Combino, Bombardier on the Flexity Outlook, Alstom with the Citadis, CAF with the Urbos, PESA with the Swing, and so on...

Personally, I believe trams on actual bogies (like the The Hague HTM GTL and Regiocitadis trams, or the old RET Duwag trams) are much beter; less wear on tracks and rolling stock, and a more comfortable ride (especially in curves). ;)

Does that new pantograph model work? Specifically, can you still raise and lower it? And would this come with Beta 3.15 or an add-on?

Yes, the pantograph is fully functional.
And it 'll be most likely an add-on, so you don't have to wait for 3.15.

But it will stil take some time; there is still a problem with the windows (which I can solve, but it is not easy), the driver door isn't placed yet, the windscreen wiper needs to be animated (which will be difficult due to the curved windscreen), and so on... ;)

Will the trams be in the activities in Rijndam 2022?

When the tram is released, activities using it will be provided along with it.
