Well, my dreams are crushed. :( Begone 3rd rail.
I should have known that there was a twist.

If you want a railway connection between Simvliet West, Simvliet Poort and Simvliet Airport, we have to deal with 3rd rail... For the reasons we all know.

@Michiel, will you show us more screenshots in the future? Are you planning to relase that on beta 3.15?
Greetings from Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal.

I was expecting the term light rail as a line that uses 3 or less articulated units (such as a Siemens SD460) usually constantly powered by overhead wires and connects suburban and sometimes industrial areas to commercial area within a city in the form of an "express tram" or metro with signal priority on street running sections of the route and protected level crossings on its cab signal section. :ugeek:

Well, I understand the therm "lightrail" as a hybrid between tram and metro. In Czech republic there are three "lightrail" like tram tracks. These tracks are in Czech republic usually called "tram expressways" or "tram high speed tracks." These three tracks are:
1st: Prague tram expressway between Hlubočepy and Barrandov districts.
2nd: Prague tram expressway between Braník and Modřany districts.
3rd: Interurban tram expressway between Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou cities. Also this tram expressway has a more narrow gauge than reaining two (1000mm, remaining 1435mm)
Here are pictures of them:

You're right. That picture was photoshoped. I checked the the Simvliet centraal and no 3rd rail with catwalk wasn't there.
If you want to make a very fast ride, just disable ATB/ZUB, put trottle to 1.00 and enjoy.
In my Avatar is a Logo of a Prague metro.
Sorry for my bad English. I am Czech and i am learning English

Those are good examples but here's what I was trying to execute:

Cab Signal Running

Notice that there is a standard North American crossing signal in the background.

Images of the upcoming Canadian Ion Light Rail that is disguised as a tram which actually shares a portion of it's route with freight trains.
