Question about CVL

Post by MX3000 »

Hi.

First off, thank you for this outstanding sim. I've been following it for a long time now, and it was just last week I did another check on it to find that it have been released a new and great version. Thanks. I would be happy to make a donation some day if it was possible.:)

About the CVL. When I'm in explore mode and make a path for my train, I'm experiencing that the path disappear. Anyway I can fix this so the path is there on my whole run?

1. Hit "Control" (top right corner bar)

2. Hit "Load Data", and a window named "Load control data" will appear.

3. In that window select "simvliet2013" than "Routes.ctd" and hit Load ;)

Actually it doesn't work. some of the paths still are disappearing.
I guess I do something wrong or that I need to edit the path into on of the scripts?
I have just entered for example

Code: Select all

423 467 RWI
into the CVL(F2)

Yes indeed, not all paths get drawn by this as it only handles the mainline paths. Nothing to do about that, you will always have to insert some paths yourself ;)

I saw that some of the longer paths is not easy to insert, but if I put them in in shorter sectors it's doable. Anyways, some of them disappear.
But I found that the "ctrl"+"shift"+"A" also works.;)

Thanks.

A path can only contains one section, if you enter longer ones it only set the first section. And the Ctrl+Alt+A is for disable the ATB, that can cause a crash. ;)
