Haven't you seen from the past times shortly before things were announced or a new beta came out that Michiel likes to be a troll sometimes?

Anyhow, I don't think anybody is fighting the other here, both Michiel and Sjoerd have done great work in my opinion.

After all the testruns on all 3rd rail lines, there was still a bit of 3rd rail track these 'new' metro's haven't been yet...
In order to officially qualify these trains for passenger service (and not have service limitations other then "it needs 3rd rail"), they need to have done testruns to all corners of the network they might need to get to while in service. That includes the tracks to Nobelplein. Who knows; perhaps a shuttle Noorderpoort-Nobelplein is needed someday, due to maintenance works on line M1. Better be prepared. So, here we go;

(Perhaps you have guessed already; as M4 is now fully ATB, the HSM is also usable there. However, for the HSM te keep functioning in both driving directions, you then can't pass any ZUB transponders along the way. So the ATB-ZUB changeover has moved away from Noorderpoort, also for M1, and is now located at Nobelplein; changeover from 3rd rail to overhead wire and ATB to ZUB at the same location. Therefore, the 81-717 can get to Nobelplein under 3rd rail and ATB, but it can not go any further then the station itself.)

If Sjoerd hasn’t made such activity already (which I doubt he has), it’s too late now, since he has already sent the new Rijndam versions to Michiel, so that they’ll be added to the final release of Beta 3.13 (unless he makes the activity later).
