Yes, I'll probably put in the cab controls from the MG2; that way, all necessary functions are already in there and I do not have to create anything completely new (which would probably take a lot of time, due to the functioning indicators). With the MG2 panel, I would just have to fit it in the drivers cabin. ;)
But I will have a look at the way Michiel made those panels; see how they work....

Another preview;

Will these trains have inside view, like the RSG3, SG4, Airportshuttle Service and the trams?

I don't think this will be used in Simvliet though.

Everyone can make their own activities.... If you want to use it in Simvliet, just make an activity (or adapt an existing one) ;)

Another testrun. During a stop at 's Gravendijk. Both to test the train and the route (M4 has been transformed to 3rd rail and ATB);

Wait, I'm now noticing that these are single units. Does each unit have cabs in both directions?

No, they 're like the old Amsterdam LHB cars and NYC subway cars, meaning they don't have a gangway connection.

There are cars with a drivers cab on one end (81-717) and middle cars without cabs (81-714). ;)
In Metrosimulator, you may couple/uncouple them as you wish, so you can create your own train length. In activities, I will use 6-car consists.

There are doors between the carriages, but these are for emergency use only.

That's right! The doors between carriages are here in case of major failure or accident.

6 cars? Wow! In Prague, Fully long train of rebuilt 81-717 a.k.a. 81-717M consist of 5 cars.

I also wonder what kind of sound will 81-717 in Metrosim have? As far as I know from Metrostroi and my real life childhood memories. 81-717 made a loud low-to-middle pitch buzzing (the pitch of buzzing depended on speed of the train) when they speeded up or slowed down. But I guess 81-717 will sound like a MG2/SG2 in Metrosim.

Interesting fact: The 81-717M train also makes low-to-middle pitch buzzing (pitch depending on speed) when they speed up or slow down at high speeds. During low speeds the train also makes the sounds mentioned above, but it also makes a high pitched wheezing. This wheezing is mostly noticeable during stopping or departing from station
