I never tried this controller so I'm really curious! I think it adds realism to the experienceSjoerd wrote: ↑03 Sep 2017, 12:36 I had one of these once, which I used with MSTS. After a short while, I stopped using it and I sold it again, as I found working with a normal keyboard worked a lot better. And I have also used a joystick for a while, using the "joycur" tool to change joystick movements into key commands. But that was before I started using Metrosimulator.

Re: Raildriver Controller
Only if you drive an American Dash-9 locomotive, as it has the same controls.

On any other train, it is pretty much useless as it does not match the right controls. And my own experience with it, using it with MSTS, was that is sluggish; there is a small delay between using the controls and the simulator reacting to it, while you get a direct / much faster reaction just using the keyboard. I was sorry I bought it pretty soon, but luckily, I managed to re-sell it to someone else trough the internet.
If you want to use something else then the keyboard, I would advise using a joystick. That resembles the controls for many modern metro's, trams and even (European) trains more closely then the Raildriver-controller. Even the SG3 uses a lever that is closer to a joystick then to the Raildriver;

Re: Raildriver Controller
Well, thanks for the advise! I'm still keen to buy it and try it myself... Maybe there are other games like Railroads or the new era Train Simulators with more trains like Dash-9Sjoerd wrote: ↑04 Sep 2017, 19:52 Only if you drive an American Dash-9 locomotive, as it has the same controls.

Re: Raildriver Controller
Maybe we can have an API to Metro simulator? So we can program and make your own Raildriver Controller with a arduino uno?
Currently running Metro Simulator Beta on NVIDIA GeForce GT1030 2GB grafic card.
