Ask them what they want most; more trains at the next timetable change, or an extra line after years of planning and building time (including years of inconvenient construction in there neighborhood) ;)

I can speak on behalf of my constituency, to say that we need more trains during the peak time, it is just horrible. 2 car trains are not enough we say.

Extra rolling stock has been ordered. Hopefully, they will arrive in time for Rijndam 2020. Then rolling stock can be re-arranged to provide longer consists. ;)

There are 8 trainsets servicing this line (as rolling stock alternates between M2 and M3, so both lines automatically get longer trains). So far three extra SG3 units have been made available to extend three trainsets from 2 units to three units. We will look into the possibility to extend more trainsets, as more units become available.
Hopefully, this will increase customer satisfaction.

This is the first extended trainset;

It would take like 3 - 6 years depending on the length of an extension.
