Who need to go from Lisbon to Oporto by plane when you can catch the Alfa Pendular or Intercidades train? Who wants being stuck on a taxi when there is a subway service avaiable from the airport to downtown?

Who would want to go to the airport, check-in long before departure, pushback, taxi to runway, takeoff, land, taxi to gate, wait for your bagage, and then have to travel to your destination...... when you could be there by train (directly from city center to city center, no booking in advance) hours ago.
It is a small airport. There are planes that go to Rijndam?

There are 4 passenger terminals (serviced by 2 metro stations)..... No need to build them if there are no planes arriving and departing

In the Netherlands, there are multiple airports (with regular passenger traffic) too; Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Groningen, Maastricht...
But it is highly doubtful that you will find domestic flights there.
I believe I noticed an airline once that flew Groningen - Amsterdam - London City Airport, but they probably didn't sell a lot (if any) tickets for only Groningen - Amsterdam; you can travel the distance city center to city center by train in only 2 hours 5 minutes, and depart 2x/hour. So by the time you get from Groningen to Groningen airport and actually board the plane, you could already have arrived at your destination by train.

Only 2 hours and 5 minutes, and still the politicians up there keep requesting stuff a maglevs, hyperloops or whetever hype is currently active.

That will never actually happen. The hyperloop concept will be forgotten within a few years, just as the German Maglev system was forgotten (just one line was build with the system in China).
Even a regular railway, using a shorter route between Groningen and Amsterdam (known as the Zuiderzeelijn) was never build, after a 30-year political discussion.

Short term projects, like the conversion of the Rotterdam to Hook of Holland railway to metro exploitation, have far more chance of succes; less plan-changing political elections in between ;)

Well, from Lisbon to Oporto it takes only 55 minutes by plane, by train it takes around 2h45.

See the difference...

What's the code for the Rijndam Molenwijk depot for the railway in Rijndam 2018? (BTW not the code M or Z, the code where you put a train somewhere in explore mode)
