Windows 10 compatibility

Post by tho3mas »

Hi,

First, let me say that I worship your work for this amazing beta. Every single person whom I showed your beta was amazed !
Then, I used to enjoy it on Windows 8 but it doesn't work at all on Windows 10 Technical Preview. After double click on Simulator Demo.exe it says that the program can't start because Simulator Demo.exe doesn't exist ! Wow inception...

Any idea why this bug ?

Thanks,

Thomas.

It isn't a bug, why is Windows 10 compatibility necessary if Windows 10 isn't official released?
Until Windows 10 arrives as retail version it isn't useful to have Windows 10 support.

Have you tried to start the simulator in compatibility mode? Sometimes this will help.

I have installed Metro Sim on Windows 10 (Home) and it says that "The program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer."
It also says try reinstalling the program, which does not work.

Can anyone assist me with fixing this issue?

Please note that when you have windows 10 you most likely have DirectX12 installed. Download the file below for compatibility with the simulator which uses an older versions of DirectX.

Hello I have issues with Metro simulator Beta ever since I got windows 10. I would run a compatibility test fix it then it would work but only for a few weeks. I tried installing older versions of directX however my computer tells me I already have it. What should I do?
