Re: WIP: MVG Class A + B
Does this train have an induction propulsion? I'm asking because especially when departing, it more reminds me of a common axle-hung propulsion, much like this one. Umm... I don't know, if you mean MVG Class B or 81-717M in my video. For MVG class B: I don't know, maybe they do. Form 81-717M: No th...

Re: WIP: MVG Class A
To anyone curious, this is what they sound like. They have induction motors, making them distinguishable from the A cars by the characteristic humming noise heard when the train stops and departs. Well, as I thought, the MVG Type B sound a bit different, than MVG Type A (MVG Type A sounds like a sp...
Re: Class 230
Hmmmm... Is that train diesel powered? Because I didn't see any third rail shoes or pantos mounted at it.

Re: Screenshots & Videos
Citadis at Denia.jpg Well, atleast I can pretend to "drive" a tram from Nice on Rijndam Zuid <-> Denia branch, because I found out, that APS trams can run on regular 3rd rail tracks, and since the Rijndam Zuid <-> Denia branch has an "invisible 3rd rail" installed, I can go ther...

So the answer is "Yes they have them." Right?Sjoerd wrote: ↑16 May 2019, 10:43 Take a look at the Tours track map: http://carto.metro.free.fr/documents/Ca ... s.v1.4.png
There is only a short section in the city center designated as "Zone APS". On the rest of the line, overhead wires are used.

Re: Citadis 302
Wow, a new power supply system, atleast I can pretend with this that I am driving Citadis from Nice, where aren't any catenary in the historic centre. I also wonder if those trams equipped with APS has pantos and can run on regular catenary?

Re: K4500 Tram
Oh, I forgot to mention one more thing about Skoda 15T 5th: Skoda 15T hasn't Shafenberg coupler, but the regular rod like coupler (same one like on KTM 23 and KTM 31), which is usually hidden below driver's cabin on front and below rear passenger seats on rear. Fact: Almost every tram in Prague has ...

Re: I got some slang expressions for this game.
Well, let's liven up this topic, with some nicknames I made for rolling stock in metrosim. Also with explanation, why did they got their nickname. Metro trains and railway trains MG2= 81-717's dutch cousin (It has some similarities with 81-717, but not so much) SG2= Old hybrid (It can run on both ca...

Re: Citadis 302
Nice tram, keep it up! ;) Yeah, very good. Could you look at the Citadis 402 of Grenoble? It's similar to the Lyon's Citadis but with a diferant face. If you use Steh13 models, he have it too. Thanks for French vehicles! He should also try a Citadis from Nice (read niis). These are very special, bec...
