Actually, you leave Rijndam on the south side to go to Zeeburg, and then head east/northeast towards Hondwijk aan Zee, where the new line starts as you have seen in the video. At Hondwijk aan Zee, there once was a trainferry connection..... But these are not in use anymore. A short section of track at the docks remains (no longer connected to the main network) as a memory of the past.

If I had a good model of the Amsterdam M5 trains, I would have converted it for the simulator already. And then I would ofcourse be tempted to do a line like this as well. No, no extra intermediate stations. I'll make another video soon. Tried to do it earlier today actually, but came across a train detection problem and a malfunctioning signal I had to solve, and the CTD needs some tuning as a certain path needs to be set a little sooner.
