In order to speed up testing of the SImvliet Lightrail, some old RSG2 vehicles have been taken out of storage. Although they will never run on this track when it opens, they do have everything needed to test the signalling system.

Since the loop at Simvliet Buiten no longer exists (track continues to Hageningen from here) and Simvliet Industrie had no loop, a new loop for the freight train had to be constructed. And here it is: Zeerwijk Industrie. Accessible using a single track, across the bridge there is a rather large loop...
