Re: Importing models

You know what, I'm just going to try to convince a friend to send his P865/P2020 models over here instead. The anticipation is killing me. If there was a model of our Breda LRV2/3 or a Siemens LRV4 that would be pretty good. They could do all the lines in MSB, with the movable steps. Trams, Metro, ...

Re: Importing models

Or the pan could be used with the standard cab layout. I believe one of the DLR cars got sent to Manchester as part of a LRT demonstration in the late 1980s.

Re: Importing models

I concur with Sgt_DeBones, at MUNI it is a 1, 2 or 3 car train. We just call the sections "A" end, section, part, or half, not car. Sometimes that's called the live section because our A ends always have the pans on 'em. "B" is just the "B" end, section, end, or half. A...

Re: K4500 Tram

Ok, silly idea time. There is a model of a Bombardier Flexity Swift for Stockholm on 3D Wharehouse. It has no seats, minimal interior, but the cab area has a very similar (in my mind) shape to the K4500's cab area. That meaning that the K4500 cab could be copied in for the A32 Cab. The trams are the...

Re: K4500 Tram

Both our fleets can go 50 mph max in service, but only on Auto Mode. Their maximum total for both is probably between 55-60mph. MuniMetro is the only LRT/Streetcar system to have no protected grade crossings. The ones we have, we have to stop like a 4 way stop.

Re: K4500 Tram

In San Francisco, our newest and now problematic cars, have the Pantographs over the front boogie. The older ones have them slightly off from the center boogie.

Re: GBolea3D creations

Make movable steps? Here in San Francisco, our LRVs (Light Rail Vehicles) have moveable steps to facilitate high level (in the subway) and street-level boarding. Maybe something similar could work there.
