Re: HTM GTL8 tram
Yup. BTW the 8000 series tram of Prague are called Tatra T3M. M stands for modified. These got thyristor drives in the late 70's/early 80's (TV1).

Re: HTM GTL8 tram
CKD Tatra T3. It was based on the PCC, but for the eastern part of europe back before the 1990s.NJTFAN1235! wrote: ↑17 Mar 2024, 21:36
Hmm, T3? Eh? Reminds me of Route 15, a heritage tram in Philadelphia. Obviously PCC-IIs are on the line, but as of right now, SEPTA replaced them with Buses..

Re: HTM GTL8 tram
Yeah yeah. This was already mentioned in the first post on this topic and Michiel also mentioned it in one post. I also hope, those museum trams will be operable so they can go out for a retro ride, if an opportunity shows up. I'm afraid that these trams will not be operational after they will go o...

Re: HTM GTL8 tram
I don't know about that yet. The 'old' front (still hiding under the new one, as seen here: https://haagsetrams.com/gtl/midlife-revisie-gtls-serie-3100/) definately looked a lot better. And I do not really plan to make every single variation of this tram (but at least the red-beige livery, the whit...

Re: HTM GTL8 tram
Your 1st guess is wrong, this tram only runs at 600V. 2nd guess is correct, the rear panto is used when the front panto is damaged or sometimes the drivers just use the rear one instead of the front one.

When the GTL 2nd generation were delivered they had the white-blue livery with yellow doors. Back in I believe 2002 they repainted them to look like the 1st generation. Click the link for the image.

Re: NS DDM1
I have discovered an error in the DDAR trains Cabin 1 is the balcony and Cabin 2 is the normal control table. So if you would like to watch it again, please do. Het is alleen het motor rijtuig. At least it shows the cabins and not the interior. Just because it's reversed it doesn't always mean that...

Re: Welcome to the new forum
I agree on that, because the dutch forum is ''dead'' at this point.
Re: NS DDM1
And you also had the 7900. Which was orignally gonna be Bvk + Bv + Bv + ABv + mABk but it never happend. In the end it was Bvk + ABv + Bv + Bv + ABv + Bv + 1700.
DDM1 was in the 7200 formation.

Re: NS DDM1
ABv and Bv are 26,4 m, Bvk is 26,89m and mABk is 21,4 m in length on the DDAR.
Every DDM1 coach is 27,8 m in length.
