Add the light signals at switches only. (Atleast, that's what I would do.)
As for M4, I like the underground section with overhead wires but I do want to use the 81-717 stock on M4. Hard decision for me...

Why don't you just relocate the interlocking before the junctions instead of after so we can get through rapidly without reversing? Or Atleast, fix that wall. Unless you are transit demon who rains frustration to the drivers.
