Side note, NJ and NY are two different states. NJT (New Jersey Transit) serves the State of New Jersey and doesn't serve New York. Neither the state or the city.

The closest you'll get for now is the Rijndam tram network. I don't think there will be a new map for Porto anytime soon. Unless Sjoerd plans on it since he's the most active dev.

I've pushed for a similar hybrid characteristic system before (Los Angeles Metro) but suggesting maps is highly likely not going to be developed unless repurposed into an inspired section of a future or existing map. That is the hobbyist mindset.
